A new site celebrates an athelete and his much-anticipated return to the field and to Juventus colours. The team expects its captain to return in action in the next season, 2009/2010. But it’s not just Juventus fans who are waiting for Alex – it’s on the mind of anyone who loves football. Captivated by the player’s talent, supporters identify with the style and temperament of a man who has played a key role in the history of Italian sport over the last 15 years and who has become a symbol of both determination and courteousness. Alex has enjoyed a memorable career, being Juventus’s best ever goalscorer with 262 goals in 604 appearances and a record number of wins including league titles (seven, counting the two rescinded following the Calciopoli football scandal), one Italian Cup, four Italian Super Cups, one Champions League, one Intercontinental Cup, and one Intertoto Cup. And then of course his 91 international caps for Italy, which have been graced by 27 goals and the biggest prize of them all, the 2006 World Cup.
All these figures and details are included on the new content- and technology-rich site made by Bitmama, a creative digital communication agency, formed from the merger between Aware (Reply Group) and Testawebedv (Armando Testa Group). The website starts with the new, elegant and dynamic home page, from which you can visit all internal content. The "Television" and "Photogallery" areas of the "Multimedia" section are both exciting and technologically sophisticated, subdivided into highlights of the current season and the “best of” the recent past. You can follow direct links from the "News" section, or stop and have another look at the "Profile" before checking out the "Diary" section. What’s really appetising are the innovations planned for future releases. The first will be "Ale 10+Players": an area that, following registration and a small contribution towards expenses, includes the right to a member card, a welcome photo with a genuine Del Piero signature, exclusive and personalized contents and a monthly prize competition. Then there will be a "Virtual Tour" for real-time details of all this season’s matches, by date, place and competition. Then, a space for music where various song titles and verses lead to a separate "MusicALE" section, dedicated to Alessandro Del Piero’s DJ alter ego. Finally, Alex will welcome surfers to the "SolidALE" section to remind us of the importance of making a concrete commitment to help the most disadvantaged.
